USES

It is a new nitrogenous and calcareous fertilizer with the characteristics of high efficiency and quick make-up of nitrogen, for application in greenhouses and large-area farmland. It improves and granulates the soil promoting anti-caking. When employed in industrial crops, flowers, fruits and vegetables, it extends florescence, spurs roots, stems and leaves to grow normally, guarantees fruits in bright colors and increases carbohydrate content in fruits. It is a high-efficiency, environmentally friendly greening fertilizer.

This product can be used as a solid fertilizer for side dressing to high value horticultural crops such as market gardens and berryfruit crops. As this product is highly soluble, it can also be used for fertigation as a source of calcium and nitrate-nitrogen for high value horticultural crops. The nitrate-nitrogen is immediately available for plant uptake, while the calcium is provided in a readily soluble form. Some pipfruit growers also use Calcium Ammonium Nitrate as a source of calcium for the first two foliar applications in November, to help reduce the incidence of bitter pit, a calcium deficiency disorder in apples.

When applied as a solid, there is no risk of losing any of the N as ammonia gas due to all the nitrogen being in the nitrate form.

 

APPLICATION: 

Side dressings of Calcium Ammonium Nitrate are made to market garden crops and berryfruit crops at rates of up to 200kg/ha. Rates for fertigation will depend on the crop, soil type and soil fertility. It can be applied on 

grape,orange,tea,rice,wheat,corn,cotton,fruit tree,vegetables and so on.
