Ammonium sulfate appearance
White or off whiie crystals  granular, easily soluble in water. Aqueous solution appears acid. Insoluble in alcohol, acetone and ammonia. Easily deliquescent in the air.

Ammonium sulfate Property:
It is colorless crystal or white crystalline powder,no smell.It is easily soluble in water,but insoluble in alcohol and acetone. Easy absorption of moisture agglomerate, with strong corrosive and permeability. Has hygroscopic, moisture absorption into pieces after consolidation.It can completely broken down into ammonia and sulphuric acid when heated to 513 °C above. And it release ammonia when it react with alkali. Low poison, stimulating.

Ammonium sulfate application :
Mainly use in fertilizer, its advantage is less absorb moisture compared to other fertilizer .Also use in industry ,pharmaceuticals,textiles,welding industry, dyeing auxilizries of acid dyes,deliming agent of leather,beer making,chemical agent torage battery making, making compound fertilizer.

1.In agriculture, used for nitrogen fertilizer. It is a kind of action fertilizer,which can make crops thrive and improve fruit quality and yield and strengthen resistance to disaster, can be used for common soil and plant in basic fertilizer, additional fertilizer and seed manure. It can be suitable specially for soil with lack of sulfer, but for acid soil, ammonium sulfate needs to be applied with lime.

2. Raw material of making compound fertilizer.

3. In chemical industry, it is used for raw material in making oxydol, ammonia-alum and ammonium chloride;

4. In Welding Industry, used for welding agent;

5. In textile industry, ued for fire retardant of textile fabrics;

6. In electroplating industry, used for electrobath additive;

7. Ammonium sulfate can be used for making refractory material;

8. catalyst in food coloring reddish brown;

1. Avoid excessive generation of dust.

2.Avoid unnecessary exposure to the atmosphere to prevent moisture pick-up.

3.When handling the product over long periods use appropriate personal protective equipment e.g. gloves.

Ammonium sulfate Storage note:
Store in a cool, wellventilated area.Away from the fire, heat source. Avoid combining ammonium sulfate with acid substance and alkali when stored.Storage areas shall be with the right material for leakage content. It easily decompose poisonous smoke when heated.
